Few months after crashed the Zipp 60, finally got a year 2015 Zipp 303 Firecrest Carbon Clincher as replacement for everyday ride. Bought it second hand from buddy of mine with a reasonable price and the condition is like new.
Detail of Zipp 303 Firecrest Carbon Clincher as below,
Rim Depth: 45mm
Hub: 77/177 hubset
Front Wheel: 725g 18 spokes
Rear Wheel: 900 24 spokes
Max Tire Pressure: 125psi
Official site: WITHOUT LIMITS 303 Firecrest® Carbon Clincher
The wheelset looks very good n Titanium bike.
Font hub looks identical with Zipp 60.
Quick release are the same with Zipp 60, but the hub looks differently
Brake response on carbon wheelset is really different compares to aluminium brake track, it takes slightly more time to a complete stop. Still not getting used to it and got worried while braking on high speed and downhill.
The 303 is not complete black actually, appear with brown-yellow elements in some angles when there is more lights.
Thought of getting Campagnolo Bora One at first but the price shoot high because of currency, hopefully Zipp 303 can serve me longer compare to short life of Zipp 60.
